Motorized Scooters

There is a member on here that restores these I believe? Just came from a friends house that is in need of a major clean-up. He has about an acre of land with trucks (dodges--couple of 62's and a 70), bicycles, deck lawn mowers, think I saw an older snow mobile in there, and about 12-15 scooters maybe half of them are Pugh? Trying to figure out what these may be worth. He is 78 and wanting to do a 'clean-up' finally realizing he can't do it all.

It's Puch. I saw one on BAT go for 3K but it was perfect.

I know Andy4639 does golf carts and bicycles. He may be of some help.

I'd grab a few just for parts and try and make one good one. I'm not sure but it seems like parts might be a problem and if you had a stash it would be nice.

Did they look like this?

I know Puch is top of the line. They are a motorcycle company. I rode a Puch 125 enduro (2 stroke) bike in the late '60s. I believe they are tied up with Jawa, which were the bad mamma jamma of that time

I am more of an old Honda guy. Here is an XL100 I did a few years ago now. I'm sure someone on here at least knows someone that could help. Parts is usually the issue with old bikes of any make.

I had a XL100 for about 5 minutes. I bought it for 50 bucks from my buddy that just wanted it out of his garage.

I had barely got it home when another friend came over and offered me $150 and a six pack of beer for it. Who can say no to that?

It was a fun little bike. But I only got to ride it once. And I only got half of the beer because my friend drank half.

I should have asked for a 12 pack.

Yep, but they're a lime green (ish) color

He was also telling me he has a couple of doodle bugs?? some other type of motorized scooter. Think I saw a mini bike or 2. He has a really cherry trail 70 that he rides around his property with (I don't think he wants to sell that at the moment). I saw so much it is hard to remember everything. He used to work for a small engine repair place years ago and that is how he accumulated so much
