Is this the right headlight switch?

Is this the right headlight replacement switch for my 87 silverado?

There seems to be quite a few of those things. And many of them fit lots of different vehicles. Is there any way I could determine which is the correct part number? Looks like that one is D6252D. I checked my old one but there's no part number anywhere on the outside. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Auto parts stores have online catalogs where you can check. The nearest parts store probably has it in stock.
