proportioning valve has 2 front outlets?
My new disc/disc proportioning valve has 2 front brake outlets. The one I took off only has 1 and uses a splitter on the cross member. Is there any reason I can't run the way it was set up and plug one of those outlets? Or do I need to use both outlets on the proportioning valve because it has two?

My disc/drum combination valve came with a plug in the upper outlet, and that's the way I installed it. I'm assuming this arrangement would also be fine for your disc/disc setup.

Re: proportioning valve has 2 front outlets?
So I am a few months away from getting the cab back on and connecting the brake lines.
My question is do most of you use a 'T' for the front brakes or use both ports for the front brakes? |
Re: proportioning valve has 2 front outlets?
Since my 72 "stock" lines are "T", I chose to just leave them that way and use the plug on other front port of PV.
My 67 (Camaro) with separate lines, I use both. If you are making your own lines, using both is not a problem. |

Only ever see two, the front, and rear lines. I just rebent my lines from the dis-block. The hydroboost setup only has 3/16” line connections, and mine were 1/4”. The front 1/4” line went down to the crossmember, where it splits off to two separate 3/16” lines. I just replaced the tee that was 3/16, 1/4, 3/16 with one that had all three ports in 3/16”.
