I don't no the specifics just that its big but I have an 8-lug rear in my 72 GMC 1-ton dually I'll have to do some research on the message boards to see the value. I'm in Pittsburg, PA. So it looks like your location is going to be a deciding factor since these are huge rear ends and I would hate to see the shipping cost. If your going for an origional restoration I guess this is what you need. If I were fixing up my one ton I would personally look for a rear end from a newer truck and get a little better gears since I was running some serious RPM when I drove mine on the interstate at 65 MPH. Use the new rear end with the new more available leaf springs. Just have to mount the new leaf spring brackets in place of the old. But as I said I have one of the old ones here in PA I'm willing to seperate with. Trades for parts for my 1/2 ton GMC would be a possible solution if cash is not readily available.
