Tim, you tried takin the carpet out and taking it to the coin op car wash? Hose it down with some spray nine cleaner... simple green will work if you can't find spray nine, soak it in the stuff, scrub it down good with a brush, then blast it with the high pressure hose.
You'll be amazed at how long you'll have to hose it out till the water comes out clean.
Go easy with the wand in the thin parts of the rug, (heel area) it WILL cut through.
