Sup,
my name is BJ joined the site a little while back when i was researching some stuff for a truck. Well the time has come to start working on it and i figured i would introduce myself considering i'll be asking alot of questions... So i figured i would tell the back story.
Anyways, I have 1953 Cherolet Pickup 5-window... My grandfather bought it new way back when. The truck was given to my uncle back in the late 80s. My uncle gave it to some older guy in my hometown that was supposed to work on it. He primed it then my uncle came down with cancer and passed away... I was four. Last year my grandfathers house burned down about the same time this guy that had the truck passed away. The guys wife told my dad and my grandpa we could get the truck back if we wanted it. The truck is in great condition considering he primed it before it sat. Also, it had 53,000 original miles. Talk about low mileage classic, lol.
