On the rear neo seal the directions on the package said to rotate it about 3/8 of an inch so it did'nt line up with the block/cap halfs. In the book I had it did'nt say to do this. They gave me a little shoe horn thing to use with the neo seal. I could'nt figure out what they wanted me to do with it. I just put the seal in the way the book said now I'm second guessing myself?

Don't line up the seal joint with the main cap joint. It needs to be offset like you said first. It makes it a little harder for the oil to get out.
