Well while pulling out the heavy old 4 speed we noticed that the rear diff. was very sloppy. SO I decided to get that rebuilt at the same time I got the T-5 rebuilt. Thinking back on it I would have put the more modern 12 bolt under it or a Ford 9'' but, I just got back from Japan and needed wheels yesterday so I went with what I had, the old 64 diff. One thing I didn't know at the time of getting this diff. rebuilt (but was told by my re builder) is that back in 64, they didn't go by the number of bolts for ordering parts, they went by the size of the diff. Maybe that info might help someone later on...
