Another benefit of not running AC/heater is that I will be painting my radiator core support and if i dont install the AC condensor you will be able to see right throug the grill the paint and aluminum radiator. Besides once I finish this project i will not be driving in the rain and as for the AC/ heater I could lower the windows or wear a jacket.

Here a few pics of a smooth fire walls, what I am trying to accomplish.
Any input on this one?
I ran year round in northern LA county for three years with no functional heater, A/C or wipers with no issues at all. I couldn't go a week without one of those items up here.

If you don't plan on driving in the rain it shouldn't be a problem at all. Just coat your windshield with rain-x just in case you get caught out somewhere and it starts to rain on you unexpectedly.

Too bad we aren't closer. My newest project truck needs all the parts you are taking off. It has no HVAC system at all.
