Today I finished smoothing out the bed rails and started working on the roof. I'll post pics of that hopefully tonight. For now here is some pictures of the new motor.
I bought these style serpentine brackets, but the passenger's side bracket that holds the alternator doesn't fit. Where it mounts to the head the bolt hole isn't there. There is one hole on that head, but I'm pretty sure there should be at least two holes on that side. I heard of drilling and tapping a hole there but I don't really want to do that. Plus, I would like to come up with a different set of brackets anyway. These are pretty sore to the eye. I'm thinking of fabricating some new ones, but I have a feeling it will be harder than i expect. Any Suggestions?
