Re: What did you do to your truck today!

First sunny day around here for the last ten days.

So, while "The Boss" was in the kitchen putting together a serious Christmas Eve spread, I went over to the shop for about four hours. I finished the gas tank vent lines (almost), installed the dash pad...still need to tweek it a little....put in glove box door bumpers (I used an earlier- '60's glove box emblem to piss some "proper" folks off, but mostly to cover one of my paint boo-boos), hand-set the defrost vents, installed the Vintage Air center vent (I'd already cut the hole), used some sound deadener material to block off the old radio grill because you could see thru the front window to the inside of the dash. I figured that at night, with any lights on in the dash, it would look really funky without blocking it off. Polished out the inside sill of the driver's door. Found some dents that I'm just going to live with this go-round (Rat Rod, you know).

When I got home, I took the final shot in the driveway. I thought I was outta doe!!!!
