Was reminded, by the fact that we're headed to GoodGuys Lonestar Nats in a couple of weeks, that I had done some work on the truck in preparation for the trip, but had failed to update. Here's some crappy cell phone pics of the insulation I installed last week. It is from a guy I found on the HAMB, who goes by the name lobucrod. The insulation is supposed to cut down 97% of radiant heat up to 450*. From the difference I can feel on the firewall and floorboards, where it used to burn your feet, now exhibits no temperature change; I'd say it works- and quite well. I love finding cheap alternatives that actually perform...
