Well, today is the first day for snow to fall so I ended up pulling the truck into the garage for the winter. Money is tight, as always, so I won't be doing anything immediate to it. The future plans are to C-notch the frame and put lowering blocks on it as well a different exhaust system. RIght now the exhaust lays 1" off the ground and mild bumps leave it scraping and throwing up sparks. I've got a donor exhaust system out of another 69 that'll give me two straight pipes and two mufflers...so all I'll need to do is buy me some new headers.
We've replaces the intake manifold, carb, dist cap, ignition coil, plugs, fuel pump, belts and new valve covers,gaskets and air cleaner. So, the engine is a 1/3 new...if only I had the money I'd pull it out and do a rebuild on the rest of it! Here's some pictures for now!
