only amps I've ever had that the as spec'd watts and distortion% was the same after 1 hour of use at 65% or higher of their rated output...
have been rockfordfosgate and JLaudio
most of the others are over 5-10% distortion after being on that long...
but if your going to be useing an ipod or other compressed media.. it really don't matter.. junk in= junk out
