alot of the body supply shops have the clips i got some extras from Albert Kemperle in NJ
there are also two holes that hold on the corners at least on the newer models
heres a place that has some all kinds for all cars FA1286 is the one i used pictured on this site

I would not use that 2 sided tape.. LMC sells rail caps and tailgate caps i have on my truck and both times that product failed and the items came loose and off..
