Also, if you are not getting a squirt upon working the pedal, the accelerator pump is not doing it's job or the outlet is probably plugged. The passage goes from the pump and exits a tiny hole in the throat of the carb. See the arrow in the illustration below where it says pump jet. if it's plugged it may be hard to see at first, but use a bright flashlight and poke around the wall of the carb throat with a fine wire till you find it. This will not make your truck idle any better, but it should help initial acceleration a ton.
I appreciate your help! I did check the floats, but they are always worth looking at again. I just got home from work and I'm going out now to hopefully find the problem. The picture will help a ton. Thanks again!
