Well if it has ac it's a pain! No ac then it's a lot more simple. Drop heater box under the dash and it's held in by 4 1/4" screws. The assenger side inner fender had to come out in my 79 and the outside box come off. Overall time maybe 2 hours... If that. But my truck is non ac.
