I also think I have figured out the mystery behind all of the holes drilled into the inside of the cab, both above and below the rear window. I have a picture of the upper holes on each side of the dome light. I'm pretty sure that this truck, like many others in the '70's, had a gun rack in it.
Do they even sell gun racks these days?
