Well I am not sure.....runs just fine cold. I think it also depends on the heater you have as well. I'll look into that next time I run the truck. Anyhow I am not having any heating issues at all. I've been driving it with out issue. I am sure it is flowing somehow. I've seen this setup before. Don't know. But this way works just fine for me.
