I am going to put rubber in between the two ends. I am going to have a hardline under the hood and run into the grommet where the oil pressure runs and from there put a piece of rubber through the grommet about one inch towards the motor and make it look like part of the grommet. cleans it up a bit and looks more factory I think. I will run a rubber hose on the inside to the line on the gauge so it will be easier to remove from the dash. Ill post a pic of the grommet when I have it out next.
