It came out of a late 70's or early 80's 2wd short bed he said it would just boil the tires off the truck! He pulled and rebuild he was going to stick in a boat but ended up in his garage.

Not sure why they run hot...they were made that way I guess...but...nothing to worry about...yr heater will work better.
