been a LONG time since Ive posted on here!
well been here and there and up to a few things, nasty divorce, lost my trucks, gained a corvette and drive a 99 Toyota Camry
but I'm back because I have a few projects that should rock the square-body world. make sure you keep subscribed. Everything will be mostly vague, but will have a pretty cool reveal at the end.
These donor panels naturally were spray painted black, and really any method of stripping them would melt the plastic. So a little elbow grease with a wire brush to knock the loose stuff off and a few coats of high build primer and some glazing putty to make them a little straighter and get rid of the scarred sections. these panels were not in the best condition before but will look really nice when finished. all the grain texture is gone from these purposefully
the door panel trim at top will be smoothed and trimmed so it actually fits correctly. Most of us have seen how poor they fit from the factory.
these will be done by the end of the month then its on to the next project with a bigger impact
