I am fully aware of that. Once a person knows a year range, you just pick a year and application, and that's what you tell the parts monkey. All I was getting at is that a person does not have to know exactly what their engine came out of. I see so many people get so hung up on finding out exactly what their engine came out of, make, model, hp rating, etc, when all that detail does not matter especially when it is going to be rebuilt.
