Here is the '91 "Family Wagon" we had for a while. Got 20mpg and could haul family, dog, house, and contents"
I'd wash it to keep the wheels shiny black.
I owned a loaded '71 Custom Deluxe/10 Suburban, Medium Blue on Blue BBC, for quite a few years, but don't think I ever took pictures. It wasn't quite the cream puff Marks '77 is but was very clean. It belonged to a Vette collector who used it to pull his Vettes around. My kids were young and it was certainly the family wagon. My X drove a Samurai to nursing school and such, so we needed something bigger. I remember taking my two kids, two neighbor kids, and 3 or 4 dogs weekly to 4H dog obedience classes in it. Talk about hauling an active load!
I wish I had pictures of the '65 Biscayne Wagon I bought my older son when he got his license. It was a cream puff as well. Garage kept original owner with 53 thousand miles on it. It looked restored. He drove that thing for many reliable years
Now my main vehicle is the '95 K2500 Suburban. I really like these things. Mine is more "trucky" than most and I dig that. So handy it's not funny. I never wanted a cap on my pickups, but all inside with side entry doors makes for a great vehicle. It can be a crew cab shortbed, a regular cab longbed, or troop carrier.
