I have had one for about 5-6 years, really long enough that I can't remember exactly. It gets used just about weekly on the job. I will often grab it before my Fluke DMM, BUT there are some things that the DMM is better for.

I like that I can apply power or a ground or to know quickly if I am probing into a power or a ground.

I find it useful for most things. Beware the PP3 is not really recommended for trouble shooting computerized control circuits.
