Yes. Most long beds had 20 gallon tanks. Some of them got 16 gallon tanks instead. A 20 gallon tank will not fit in a shortbed truck.

If you have a 20 gallon tank, you'll need a 16 gallon tank to take its place. The tank brackets can be reused, but you'll likely want new mounting bolts. If you're buying a new tank, go ahead and buy a new sender unit to go with it. The fuel filler hose and/or neck needs to be changed. I don't know about the fuel lines.
