That's not entirely true. My truck has one and is noted on the SPID as 18B6AA Radiator Overflow Tank. From an older thread I found, it was determined this was somewhat common on government trucks, which mine was.

Edit: sorry, I missed the "option" portion of your comment. Got too excited about one of the only options my truck had being a rare one.
