My 71 was sold from Santa Fe Motor Co in Santa Fe NM to the Forest Service. The dealer address was 418 Cerrillos Rd Santa Fe, NM. This dealer is no longer there. There is a Chevy dealer (different name) down the street so perhaps there is some connection to the original dealer.

The truck is a Jan 1971 Fremont build. Funny factoid: the build sheet has the destination dealer street name misspelled.

Here's a pic from when the truck was heading through Az on the way back to Ca. The second pic is a dealer fob and nameplate that 67-72chevytrucks member @jchav62 sent to me.
