Re: where was your truck originally sold?

My '68 C/10 Stepside in 516 Orange was built in Fremont and originally sold by Felix Chevrolet in Downtown LA. I once saw fragments of the build sheet, but it has since been lost. I bought it from a man in Pasadena in 1973. He said the PO was the Catholic chaplain at MCB Camp Pendleton, who advertized it in the base paper for someone to take over the payments on the truck, as he had overseas orders. I'm sure it was originally intended to be a fleet truck, as it has that municipal color, no frills and had 7.00 x 17.5 tires, a factory 292 L6 and SM465 4-speed.

[For some reason, the system won't let me post pics.]
