We just adopted two kittens from under our porch. The mom is feral; these guys were probably a couple weeks old when we brought them in.
It took about 15 minutes to domesticate them.
It made me imagine what it must have been like to domesticate the first cats:
Saber Tooth Tiger: "Bruh - Imma eat you".
Cave man: "Here - eat some of this previously killed food and lay by the fire, while I scratch between your ears".
Saber Tooth Tiger: "Well....I guess this is ok - for now. I'll probably eat you tomorrow. After I nap".
