I'm still waiting to hear back from the company as they are doing a trial fit today but I went to autozone, grabbed a second set of caliper pins and shaved off the small span where it was resting on the rotor so it would clear. It didn't take much. It was just enough that without it it binded but with a slight shave it cleared the rotor perfectly for it to be able to free spin. I have a couple new spares as backups now as well. They were only $4 per pair so I grabbed a couple. The factory setup probably has 2-3 tenths of an inch and mine is perfectly enough for some light to pass through.
