yeah, good plan. I need to institute the same way of thinking on my build. always another issue or somebody elses emergency repair that takes priority and piles up parts in front of my project. currently fencing supplies.
if I were to do another truck I maybstart with a new cab. maybe one of the ones assembled in USA (can't remember the shop that does it), I've heard good things about their product.
