I too live in WA State.
Driest fall I can remember.
A few year ago we had an all time record rainfall for the month of October. 10 inches in 31 days.
So far this month, zero rain.
But I had a bumper tomato crop.
Supposed to start raining mid morning tomorrow and the forecast indicates rain every day for the next 10 days.
Bad news is all the fires, in my area, were man made.
Twenty years, in jail, for such an offense would be just fine with me.
