Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

https://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/c...573092444.html GMC traces its roots back to when the “Grabowsky Motor Company” was established in 1900 by brothers Max and Morris. In 1911, General Motors took over and renamed it the “General Motors Truck Company.” GMC is the working man’s truck and always had just a little more commercial grade toughness built in than the average pickup. The current owner is starting to thin out his collection of vehicles, so it’s time for this one to find a new caretaker. The ‘67-’72 GMC have timeless style. Clean and clear title in Owner’s name.

With a 4 inch lift and those deep dish slotted alloy wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 33’s on all four corners, this Dark Green beauty is also part beast. It’s sitting on a K5 Chevy Blazer frame with 4 wheel drive. Some nice additions include a bed mounted diamond plate steel tool box, heavy duty rear bumper with trailer hitch receiver, and a heavy duty front bumper with tow hook. The sliding rear camper window and side glass is deeply tinted and works great with the deep green paintwork. Black painted bumpers add to the toughness.

The interior is clean, comfortable and supportive with a durable patterned Gray cloth and vinyl split bench seat with side bolstered buckets and high back headrests. A flip-down center armrest has a large storage compartment. The Grant GT black leather thick grip steering wheel feels just right and the under dash gauges by Sunpro monitor your engine's vital signs. Sliding camper windows come in handy and the deep tinted glass keeps you looking and feeling cool. The custom seat has a nice factory fit and the custom Camo headliner adds a touch of class.

Time tested dependable small block Chevy power here with a 350 V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Performance upgrades include headers, aluminum intake manifold, custom valve covers and an Edelbrock tall element chrome air cleaner. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan keeps it cool. Nothing fancy under the hood, just good old fashioned hot rod power with no computer controls. You’ll get plenty of low end torque, highway cruising roadability and a low cost of maintenance, plus an aftermarket filled with everything you need.
