They are only judged on originality not condition.
The carpet, yup it's shot. Was it the carpet in the Corvette when new? If so, it gets all the points.
Honestly the survivors are rarer than the restored care and the price reflects it.

Just spitballing here of course, but if it’s been in that shed all this time, I bet the engine can be saved. Just because there’s no coolant doesn’t necessarily mean it’s cracked. My IROC sat for 20 years and was almost 2 gallons low. I didn’t change a single thing, pump, hoses, nothing, and have driven it almost a thousand miles with no leaks. It’s Pretty likely that there’s just some condensate rust in the cylinders holding the rings up. As long as it didn’t develop an internal cold water leak I bet that block is fine.
