I recently replaced the carrier on my two piece shaft with a stock style unit. If you go with one of those, I would suggest welding the base plate around the edge. These are normally just tacked on and tend to break free, leaving you with a floppy driveshaft. If you go with billet aftermarket, it has negligible fore/aft play so you will need to have a driveshaft with a slip yoke on the rear or else you are going to be hammering that poly mount every time your suspension travels. Either mount will get the job done if installed properly.
