How far out of the cab does the shorter one extend? Just out of curiosity, how tall are you? Does the shorter column "feel" more comfortable than the longer one?

i'm 6'3 with some long arms, but my wife is 5'8. i set the column where it was on the close side of comfortable for me but the away side of comfortable for her. the 28" should put the butt of the column tube 0-0.5" out of the firewall at the very top of the slot. the DD shaft sticking past that.
it should be here soon, i'll make sure i get pictures as i set up the steering shaft.
