Reproduction Cab Floor Brace for 69-72 Bucket Seats

I have been working on reproducing the hard to find 69-72 cab floor bucket seat brace for my own project vehicle. I liked the idea of working with new metal and have enjoyed the metal working challenge. I’m finally ready to make them available for sale. These parts are made from 16 gauge cold rolled steel and are the same thickness as the original GM brace. They are hand formed, not stamped so they take quite a bit of time to fabricate. I will be making these in small batches as time allows. The price is $289.00 which includes Paypal fees and shipping to the lower 48 states. The cab brace is not drilled for weld nuts so that you can drill the holes in the exact spot for your truck. This accounts for any truck to truck variation. I do provide 9 weld nuts total. 5 weld nuts are used for the front seat mounting and I also provide 4 for the console mounting if you would rather use weld nuts instead of sheet metal screws like GM used. I also provide 7 stainless steel pan head screws to fill in the bench seat mounting holes; the same as GM did on the factory installation. The images below show comparisons back to an original GM brace.

Detailed instructions of the installation on my own project truck can be found at the following link.

Please respond to this thread to stake your claim to a brace when they are available and then PM me to sort through payment and shipping details. I will ship to Canada for an additional fee.

Thank you!
