The hinges in the pic on the 66 have not yet been trimmed. I am attaching a pic of a similar set-up on a 63 Panel... I will need to trim the hinges on the 66 the same way they are trimmed on the 63. The hood opens ALL THE WAY. I will take some pics of the 66 with the hood hinges trimmed this Thurs.-Fri. The truck was supposed to get blown apart this weekend so the chassis could get powdercoated and the fresh 66 Big Window cab and new sheet-metal could get installed... well, plans always seem to change with my buddy Dino

The new design leaves more room above the tire... so it can be compatible with a 29" diameter tire.
