It's only original once. Any debate on purity won't resolve the real issue, which is whether the owner is happy. No need to beat anyone up for what they do with their money and their best judgement.
The truth is that these trucks, as great as they are, were designed and engineered to a budget. If the engineers came back from the dead, they would be upgrading and modifying along with everyone else.
