My vote: Sell the 4.3, get yourself a descent 350 and slap the whistler on that!!
I would take a stab at what kind of HP and torque numbers you might expect, but I have zero experience with turbos other than driving big rigs... So I'll refrain from pulling a number out of thin air.
One thing for sure, it's going to take some work to put it all together.
