I never got the ridiculously high prices some sellers place on things. Do they really expect that much?

Although. I have to say. I have been guilty of this myself. I just sold my Jeep. I didn't really want to sell it but I never used it. And I didn't like seeing it just sit.
So I put it on CL with what I thought was a pretty hefty price tag and never expected to get a call. I just put it out there. I didn't care whether it sold or not.

The next day a guy showed up with a trailer and a bunch of money. Like I said. I really didn't want to sell it. But this guy loved it and I thought that he would take better care of it than I was. I guess that I was feeling a little guilty that I wasn't treating it like it deserved. I liked that Jeep. But I also like looking at stacks of dead Presidents too.
