It started out that one would get wet feet when it rained, so it needed to be fixed. But first: the original 250 six used about a gallon of oil per 100 miles (literally) so it needed to go. The original 3 on the tree kept popping out of gear so that needed to go too, but it was kinda fun. Got the usual 350 v8 and an automatic. Unfortunately the tranny blew when loading it onto a trailer. It was a too small transmission for a truck that the shop installed for me and I didn't know better. So the truck sat for 5 years. or more. Now I have the space, time, drive and a bit of the money.
