As on my truck, and from my understanding the factory 4X4's all use the rear set of holes in the frame for the engine mounts, not 100% sure about big blocks tho. heard it was to clear the cross member or clearance for the front axle..

This also means the use of a small diameter stock sized distributor to clear the firewall.

I have not studied this in depth but its what i have gathered from this forum.

I don't know if the 4X4's cross member is different. but if necessary you could probably find one local or maybe here on the parts board and install it. or maybe you can just drill a couple holes and move it?
