I have the same problem. All I have left of mine is the E brake arm and the cable that went to the connection behind the trans and the passenger side cable to the drum. I have an auto so its not a huge deal but would like an ebrake. PO on mine used the ebrake crossmember to mount the 700R4.

What I would like to do is have a floor mounted like all the new cars. Seems like it would be a lot simple connection. Not sure what donor vehicle to use though. Maybe like the one in my 02 Camaro.

If you go to a foot pedal you will lose your fresh air vent. Not a big deal and have to move your high beam switch maybe.
