Re: How many 4wd Suburban guys do we have?

ok - quick story -

When I worked on these trucks at the GM Desert Proving Ground, I had this boss who was a little, short, ruddy Irishman. Turns out his wife was short, too (she was 5' x 5' - lol).

He drove these company trucks home every night, and she was so short she couldn't get up in them. So they made her a little step stool - but then the problem was she couldn't retrieve the stool, so they tied a rope to it. She would set the stool by the truck and pitch the rope up on the seat, climb aboard and then hoist the stool up into the truck. Problem solved.

So I was telling my young son about this whole operation and he got this deep, thoughtful look and said "...yep - that's a long ways up for 'fat ole Barb'".

ACK!

Of course, we scolded him soundly and told him never to say that again to anyone!!
