Time for a little update.. Last week I finished up all of the steering and suspension work. I think it is as good as it is going to get. It drives and steers very nice.. it is still a bumpy ride, but that is to be expected…
I installed a 2” drop steering arm.. this leveled the drag link, and eliminated the bump steer that I had.
I also went ahead and installed new tie rod ends, I had originally re-used the old one because they felt tight (and also because the new ones are so expensive
)
Next I installed a sway bar off of later model 4x4.. I built the brackets instead of replacing the front crossmember. This really made a lot of difference…
