Re: What is appropriate wheel hole size for K20 Suburban?

The spare that came with my suburban appears to have a 4 and 5/8th inch center hole and fits nicely over the hub. However, rather than keep screwing around looking for the right fit, I picked up a set of 16" Ford rims that accept 3/4 ton 12" hubcaps and have a wide 4 and 7/8th inch center hole.

Thanks for the tip though. I would never have thought to grind the hubs down. Do you paint them afterwards or just let them rust up?
