Welcome aboard. Yes sir L29 it be. I’m going to build it up a little more than GM did. Likely keeping the vortec heads but that awfully tiny stock cam is not going back in. It’s not going to be degreed retarded like the stock cam is either. The L29 in my 98 K2500 has been a very good and reliable engine, just a little down on power for what it should be.
