Well it has been too long since I posted an update on the project. Lifes been pretty busy, but I am back to working on it for the drive home. I had to replace the new fuel pump(dead after a year) as well as the new transfer valve has failed. I am working on bypassing it at the moment.
My goal is to get it the 70miles back home and then relocate the tank to behind the rear axle using a 31 gal tbi blazer or burb tank. while not working on the truck i have been keeping an eye on the local pick and pulls and scored some goodies over the last month. a AAM rear axle with disk brakes out of a 2005 GMC 3500 box van, nv4500 trans with bell(minus shifter) from a 1999 chevy 3500, uncut radio section to fix my cut pannel, k5 buckets, center caps to go with the 19.5's. I really cant wait to get this thing home so I can really tear into it.
